OOTD- Red, White, and Blue

Happy delayed 4th of July! Yesterday I spent the day at my house with some family eating some homemade barbecue made by my father.  Since I was just at my house I didn't go all out, just something casual, but yet at the same time screamed Fourth of July. I opted for a casual dress, some old sneakers, and some knock off Ray Bans.

¡Feliz 4 de julio atrasado! Ayer pasé el día en mi casa con mi familia comiendo comida hecha en la barbacoa por mi padre. Como era en mi casa quería algo casual, pero al mismo tiempo algo que gritara cuarto de julio. Opte por un traje casual, unas tenis viejas y algunos Ray Bans barratos.

What I'm wearing (Que tengo puesto):

• Striped white and blue dress from Pacsun, belt included (Traje de rayas azul marino y blanco, con la correa incluida, de Pacsun)
• Red Vans
• Knock off Ray Bans
• Relic watch

Did my nails for the occasion as well/ También pinté mis uñas para la ocasión

OOTD- Blue Maxi

Happy mothers day to all those wonderful mom's out there who are reading my blog!  I spent the day sight seeing and with my family.  I had breakfast and went to Parque Colon in Aguadilla with my mother's side of the family and then went to my grandparent's home (father's side) and spent the rest of the day there.  So I wanted to be comfortable since it was going to be a long day but I wanted to look nice as well.  I went with a royal blue maxi dress, flats, and a messy side braid.

¡Feliz día de las madres a todas aquellas madres maravillosas que están leyendo mi blog! Pasé el día con mi familia y paseando.  Desayuné y fuí al Parque Colón en Aguadilla con mi familia de parte de mi madre y luego pase el resto del día en casa de mis abuelos de parte de mi papá.  Quería estar cómoda ya que iba a ser un día largo, pero yo quería verme bien también. Fuí con un vestido largo azul marino, sandalias y una trenza suelta.

OOTD- Fun and Sweet

For Easter I wanted to wear a fun and cute dress that embodied the spring feeling.  I decided on this dress from Valija Gitana and paired it with my Idore flats from Novus, my Relic watch, and two bracelets made by my wonderful aunt.

Para Pascua quería lucir un vestido divertido y lindo que encarna el sentimiento de la primavera. Me decidí por este vestido de Valija Gitana y emparejado con mis chanclas Idore de Novus, mi reloj de Relic y dos pulseras hechas por mi tía maravillosa.

I love this dress OH SO MUCH!  It is very spring inspired and sweet.  The pattern is lovely and the quality of great.  It is also very comfortable and I love the cut in the front and the exposure in the back.  I did have to pin the front since I am lacking in the front but it should fit perfectly for others.

¡Me encanta este vestido TANTO Y TANTO! Está muy inspirado en primavera y es muy dulce. El patrón es precioso y la calidad de la tela es fantástica. También es muy cómodo y me encanta el corte en el frente y la exposición en la espalda. Yo tenía que fijar la parte delantera, ya que me hace falta alguito, pero debe encajar a la perfección para los demás.

OOTD- You can Never be too Tall

A while back I visited a fellow blogger and my bestie, Elvira, from First, Dessert: A Baker's Corner to have a mini blogging get together.  Elvira being such an awesome friend volunteered to take some pictures of my outfit for this OOTD.

Hace un tiempo visité a una colega de blogs y mi mejor amiga, Elvira, de First, Dessert: A Baker's Corner  para tener una sesión de blogging. Como ella es una amiga increíble se ofreció para tomar algunas fotos de mí para este OOTD.

What I'm wearing (Que tengo puesto):

• Old Navy Blouse
• Pacsun Bullhead Black the 55 Denim Legging Clean Light Jeans 
• Clutch from KB 
• Platforms from Bakers (Style is Win 02 Taupe Mic)

These shoes are one of my most unique shoes I own.  Measuring a shocking 6 1/2 inches they give me a very much needed boost (since I'm only 5'1 inches in height).  They are surprisingly very comfortable since they are platforms.

Estos zapatos son uno de mis zapatos únicos que poseo. Con unas impresionantes 6 1/2 pulgadas de altura me dan un impulso muy necesario (ya que soy sólo 5'1 pulgadas de altura). Ellos son sorprendentemente muy cómodos ya que son plataformas.

I chose to keep my makeup neutral and my hair in it's natural state as well.

Outfit of the Day: Purple florals

Today's OOTD is inspired by spring which is creeping up upon us.  I went out to celebrate my father's ? birthday tonight and had the urge to get a little dressed up (nothing is ever wrong with that). ;) This is a perfect dinner outfit, it's very sweet and to the point.  

Look consists of:

• Dress: Necessary Objects by Ady Gluck Frankel
• Shoes: Limelight
• Purse: Coach
• Belt: Gift
• Jewelry: Handcrafted (not by me) 

Nail polish is Cotton Candy by Bettina (toes)

Finish the look off by curling your hair and pinning back your bangs for a more polished look.

Outfit of the Day: Gems and Florals

My first ever OOTD is really just a simple feminine look that is very affordable and really anyone could recreate it and still look fabulous.  

Simple look consists of: 

• White top with 3/4 sleeves from Old Navy
• High waisted floral skirt from Forever 21
• Flats are Idore from Novus. 

 I think the top knot just makes the look complete and more put together.   Make up is very neutral just some mineral powder, brown in my crease with some liner and of course mascara.

I've been in love with these babies lately!

All in all this is a good diner date or even just a nice family get together look.
