2012 Summer Nail Polish Trends

Since I had such a good response with my 2012 Spring Nail Polish Trends and that it is officially summer it’s time for my 2012 Summer Nail Polish Trends post.  As usual summer is about bright and fun colors but there are also just some colors which I haven't been able to put down.

Siempre el verano se trata de colores brillantes y divertidos pero también hay algunos colores que no he sido capaz de parar de utilizar.

1. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear- Mellow Yellow (Really brightens up your nails without leaving them stained; great for nail art as well) Creme Finish
2. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear- Green with Envy (I'm not a green fan but this is my exception!  Looks great when you color block it with Coral Reef) Creme Finish
3. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear- Coral Reef (My all-time favorite coral!)
4. Bettina (Resort Collection)- Bonfire (a really bright pink coral color) Creme Finish

NOTD- Rose Inspired

A couple weeks back I was watching some YouTube videos and came across Arose186 nail tutorial on how to make this nail design.  Now I am not by any means good at nail art but when I saw the video I knew it was simple and that it was up my alley. Plus, it came out so gorgeous on her that I couldn't resist.  Now I modified it a bit to my taste, but it still came out awesome.  All you need is two polishes and you're good, I chose Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear in Coral Reef and Bettina in #45.

Hace unas semanas atrás estaba viendo algunos videos de YouTube y me encontré con el tutorial de uñas de Arose186 sobre cómo hacer que este diseño de uñas. No soy buena para nada en haciendo diseños de arte de uñas, pero cuando vi el video yo sabía que era simple y que era algo que yo podía hacer. Además, a ella le quedo precioso y no me pude resistir. Ahora lo he modificado un poco para mi gusto, pero aun así salió increíble. Todo lo que necesita es dos esmaltes y ya, opté por Coral Reef de Sally Hansen's Xtreme Wear y #45 de Bettina.

If you want to learn how to do it check out the video, it's really simple and fun to do.  Plus, it looks sort of classy yet abstract at the same time.  I got a lot of complements on the nails and a lot of people asking me what they were (I am not an artist haha).  If you do them send me a picture on my Facebook or Twitter I'd love to see some recreations.

NOTD- Wet Cement

Today's nail of the day is from Wet Cement by Sally Hansen from the Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear line.  I really like this line of polish since it lasts a long time and is very economic.  I had been looking for a grey color for a while and when I saw that this line of polish was having a sale, buy 2 of the polishes for $4, I snatched it.

El "nail of the day" es Wet Cement de Sally Hansen, de la línea Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear. Me gusta mucho esta línea de esmaltes, ya que tiene duran mucho tiempo y es muy económico. Yo he estado buscando un esmalte gris hace tiempo y cuando vi que esta línea de esmalte tenía una venta, compra 2 por $ 4, lo cogí sin pensar dos veces.

Really love the polish and I think it’s always great to have your basic grey.  It has a cream finish and good dry time.  This line usually has these types of sales often so you might want to wait until the next one.  This retails normally for $2.99.

Me encanta el esmalte y creo que siempre es bueno tener un esmalte de color grey básica.  Tiene un acabado crema y saca rápido.  Esta línea tiene por lo general este tipo de ventas a menudo por lo que podría esperar hasta la próxima. Esto normalmente se vende por $2.99.

Haul!

It's been awhile since I did a haul and I thought I would post some of my recent finds.  Personally I love hauls because it gives me ideas of what to buy or not to, so I'm hoping it will do the same for you.  All of these products were purchased in Walgreens and Walmart.

Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que hice un "haul" y pensé que seria bueno compartir algunos de mis compras recientes. NOTD- Coral Reef and Green with Envy

Spring time has arrived and that means that you want to start wearing bright colors.  While I was wandering the aisles of Walgreens, I came across the 2 for $4.00 sale on the Sally Hansen Xtreme wear nail polishes and decided to get Coral Reef and Green with Envy. I also decided to wear them together after seeing the Eleventh Gorgeous video, which I thought was a really cool idea.

La primavera ha llegado y eso significa que debes de empezar a usar colores brillantes. Mientras caminaba por Walgreens me encontré una venta de los esmaltes Sally Hansen de su línea Xtreme Wear cuales estaban a 2 por $ 4.00 y decidí comprar Coral Reef y Green with Envy. También decidí usarlos juntos después de ver el vídeo de Eleventh Gorgeous, que me pareció como una idea genial.

The colors are beautiful and the formula as well.  I didn't have a problem with any of them, not even chipping.  They also apply well with two coats.

2012 Spring Nail Polish Trends

Leave your dark colors aside because this season is all about pastels and neon's.  I picked seven polishes that I thought represented this spring to a T.

Deja tus colores oscuros a un lado porque esta temporada es todo acerca de los pasteles y neones. Tomé siete pule que pensé que representa esta primavera a perfección.

1. Wet n Wild- Heatwave (Bright coral that look great on your fingers and toes) Creme finish
2. Sinful Colors- Savage (The photo doesn't do it justice it is a neon turquoise that looks phenomenal) Matte finish
3. Sinful Colors- Pink Forever (Neon pink that screams girly girl) Creme finish
4. Sally Hansen- Three D (Mix between a coral and an orange, it has orange and gold shimmer in it as well) Shimmer finish

3. Wet n Wild- I Need a Re-Reshmint (pastel baby blue, think of a Tiffany blue and voila that's it)  Creme finish
